These lists are usually full of strange entries but they're sometimes fun to go through.

100 Worst Movies of All Time

Which ones do you agree/disagree with and why?

Manos: The Hand of Fate is a classic. The rest I agree are pretty bad.

I guess I should consider myself lucky in that the only one I've seen from that list is Howard The Duck...and yeah it was a stinker. Much more childish than I was hoping based on the little I knew from the comic book series.

Some of those are bad in a good way. I enjoyed watching several of them.

They could easily make 100 lists of the "99 worst movies of all-time", with no duplicates and no controversy. Just go through all the sequels ever made.

That list is like looking through the shelves of a really lousy video rental shop.

Glad to see that Gigli and Disaster Movie both cracked the top ten. Atrocious films.

I have only seen one- # 15 Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. A classic in the Plan 9 from Outer Space mold.

Well, I've only seen about 20 of these (thank god!) and they all belong on this list. Though I still hold that 'Myra Breckinridge' is the worst film ever made, and it didn't appear anywhere. I disagre with that.

Also, seems weird that they only apparently consider English-language American films.

I'd put 'Gigli' a little lower on this list, myself. It's bad, but not as awful as its usually made out to be. It gets points from me for the scene where Chris Walken shows up near the end to lecture everyone about how they're all acting like idiots. Which, if nothing else, at least assured me that the writers (or maybe a script doctor) were at least aware of the problem. And I'd replace 'Disaster Movie' with 'Date Movie' which, to this day, rates as the one film it took me the longest to finally endure to the end, in five-minute segments. I couldn't take any more than that.

    Now, had time to go through the list. I've only seen the following ;

    95. Problem Child
    92. Howard The Duck
    89. Police Academy 4: Citizens on Patrol
    82. Nothing But Trouble
    56. Weekend at Bernie’s II
    54. Superman IV: The Quest for Peace
    13. Troll 2

Troll 2 was made sincerely and does stink but if watched to laugh at how terrible it is, it's pretty funny so I'd hesitate to put it up there.

The rest were genuinely and thoroughly terrible! Thankfully, I saw them all in my early teens so I've forgotten about (most of) the details.

  14. A classic, after a fashion. And if the filmmakers and actors had any talent, it might've actually been good. There's an interesting premise there.
Why would you make such an effort with an obviously-crappy movie at all? All those ______ Movie movies blow.

Pretty lazy list, with a lot of simple cut and paste of RT scores when RT didn't exist when many of these films came out. A little more effort, please.

None of those 99 are as bad as The Dark Knight Rises or Star Wars The Last Jedi.

OK, I need to know what I am missing and why the OP and some other participants are talking about 99 instead of 100. :)

There sure is some baaaaaad stuff here, but I'm pretty sure I've seen a few even worse than the examples mentioned.

I've only seen 8 movies on the list. Every one of them deserves to be there.

I’ve seen 33 of them. Some I’m not sure about as they were viewed thirty years ago when I was in my early 20s. A bunch of us would get VHS rentals to drink beer and laugh at.

I don't watch many movies, so small wonder I've not seen any of these. Might have caught part of Cannonball Run II on TV when I was a kid.
