Indeed!!! The Terence Hill Italian Westerns are Great!!! :righton: "My Name is Nobody", I think was the last one he did. It featured Henry Fonda.

Also; "Fire Sale" was hilarious!!! That's the one where Sid Ceasar is trying to grow his leg back!

I was going to list this, but I wasn't sure if it actually qualified as a comedy rather than a humorous coming of age tale.

Certainly has the best stereo salesman bits in the movies:

A customer walks into a Hi-Fi store with his girlfriend to help her make a decision
    on which speakers to purchase
    :

Boyfriend: See, that's what I've got (he says to his girlfriend as he points to the Definator X-1 speakers).

    Girlfriend: Yes, it's really pretty.

    (The salesman approaches)

Salesman: Over here we have a great speaker. Consumerphile Stereo has rated it "Best Buy".

Boyfriend: What do you think of this one? (Pointing to the Definator X-1s)

Salesman: The Definator is a GREAT marketing idea, but it's really not a good speaker. We give it a 500% markup and then discount it 50% off so the customer thinks he's getting a good deal and we still make a bundle.

Girlfriend: But it's so big and impressive.

Salesman: Size means very little. Bigger isn't necessarily better. I sound like Dr. Ruth Westheimer.

Girlfriend: You mean the Definator is like, a, um . . .

Salesman: Well, the Definator is popular with men who like to have . . .

    Girlfriend: Bigger equipment?

    Salesman: Exactly!

    * * *

A young man with long hair, wearing laid back clothes, and a flannel shirt
wrapped around his waist enters the store
    :

Dude: Hey, YO! Wanna sell me a stereo?

    Salesman: Yeah, I'll help ya'.

Dude: I'm lookin' for somethin' REAL HOT but I don't wanna get ripped off. Know what I mean?

Salesman: OK. You're lookin' for some REEEEEEALLY HOT speakers right? Not just somethin' you listen to, but something you can feeeeeeel, right?

    Dude: YEAH !!!

Salesman: When it comes to a great stereo you can't beat BIG SPEAKERS. I'm talking big speakers with big woofers. Like this . . . You could get this speaker with a little eight inch woofer, or this one with a ten inch woofer. OR even this one with a twelve inch woofer. BUT I can see by the look on your face you want somethin' even bigger!

    Dude: F^<K YEAH!!!

Salesman: F^<K YEAH is right! We gotta go to the "Big Room" for this.

(As the salesman and the dude walk into the room in the rear of the store. The salesman opens the door and exclaims . . . )

Salesman: THE BIG ROOM!!! The flagship of the Definator line. The PB-0002, I have a pair of these myself. THIRTY INCHES of thigh slappin', blood pumpin', nuclear brain damage!!!

    Dude: Bitchin'! What's it cost?

(As the salesman start to turn up some cool death metal rock at a really loud volume level)

Salesman: That's the beauty of it. If you can't afford it f^<kin' finance it!!! Who cares if it's as big as a Subaru and costs twiceas much, you'll never have to upgrade it and when you die you can be buried in 'em!!!

Scotland Pa. Macbeth at a McDonalds. Christopher Walken gets to play straight man.
Mystery Train, esp. for Screamin' Jay.
Night On Earth. Roberto Bengini goes nuts.
The Big Lebowski. It sorta tied everything together.
This Is Spinal Tap. How can I leave this behind?
    Young Frankenstein. Nice knockers.
Eulogy. Best use of a Joan Armatrading song in any movie.
Office Space. Well I can't exactly say I've been missing work.
Airplane! And don't call me Shirley.
Groundhog Day. I've got you, babe.
    Snatch. Kuasehfgaiurgh.
    Bananas. This is Howard Cosell.

42 posts so far and nobody's yet mentioned Love and Death? My favorite comedy of all time.

"You're the greatest lover I've ever had."
    "I practice a lot when I'm alone."

"I know that guy. He was from my village. He was the village idiot."
"Oh yeah? What'd you do, place?"

"And you must be Don Francisco's sister."
"No no, you must be Don Francisco's sister."

    "Ivan saved string."
"I know. That's one of the reasons why I loved him."

"I shall walk through the valley of the shadow of death. Better yet, I shall run through the valley of the shadow of death...you get out of the valley much faster that way."

"Wheat. I'm dead, and they're talking about wheat...there are things worse than death...if you've ever spent an evening with an insurance salesman, you know exactly what I'm talking about."

I know the thread says the last 35 years, but there are a couple of comedies over 36 years old that need to be mentioned -- Philadelphia Story and Some Like it Hot. Two great comedies.

I have comedies from the 30's and 40's that stille hold up....Ruggles Of The Red Gap and The Great McGinty are real fav's and a good excuse to use the LD player. I stille watch Dr. Strangelove on Criterion CAV LD too... The Party with Peter Sellers didn't make the arbitrary 35 year limit either, hot dam, it's so birdy-birdy, chirp-chirp!

    Here are mine:

Monty Python & The Holy Grail--(Now get out of here at once or I shall taunt you a second time!!!!!)
The Blues Brothers--(The extended cut rocks!)
It's a Mad Mad Mad Mad World--(Another great extended cut)
The Graduate--(My first ever Laserdisc purchase, just to be able to see it widescreen, and a GREAT soundtrack, of course!)
This is Spinal Tap--(Great in it's original form, but I can NOT watch it anymore without the "in character" commentary from Shearer, McKean, and Guest)
Waiting For Guffman--(The BEST of the three Christopher Guest "Mockumentaries", not counting Tap. Dartanian! How DARE you speak to me that way, you!)
Hold That Ghost--(Abbott & Costellos most solid film from start to finish.)
South Park: Bigger, Longer, & Uncut--(THE greatest musical of the last 15 years!)
Ghostbusters--(To this day, I can probably recite the whole movie by heart. The sequel doesn't exist to me!)
Trading Places--(Aykroyd and Murphy never again came close to being as funny as in this movie, IMHO)
Me, Myself, & Irene--(Crude and Brainless, but for some reason I just love it)
    Napoleon Dynamite--(Is Pedro There?)
