Is 'Tomorrow Never Knows' the most covered song in Art Rock? I have versions by the Beatles, Mark Nine, 801, King Crimson, Sheila Chandra and Tangerine Dream. I like them all. Something else out there I should know about? I can hear Bill Nelson singing it in my head, is that just my imagination (running away with me).

Musical genres are abstract ideas, Rock. Jazz, Art Rock, it's all an abstraction. I broke my guitar by bashing it into my amplifier, that would be a good representation of a fact. As per Sventonio, well who knows? Art Rock isn't Prog Rock, which isn't Psychedelic Rock, which sometimes isn't rock at all.

Genesis we're art-rock back in the day. Definitely were not considered alongside bands like ELP and Yes. Somehow all that is forgotten now.
