You know, I was reading this thread and trying to come up with some and maybe it's old age, I don't know. Just hittin' a brick wall after a couple. Really love the ZZ Top and BOA and I just picked up a used copy of Robin Trower Live. The Trower was a big favorite for me back in the day.

As for the Grand Funk, I don't know how I missed that one. One of the first live albums I ever owned.

By the way, I love live albums and this is a pretty cool thread. Looking forward to seeing more that I missed.

I haven't seen The Rolling Stones Love You Live mentioned (Edit - I stand corrected; the OP listed it). Not the greatest live album by any stretch of the imagination but it does have the El Mocambo side. There are also official downloads for Brussels Affair (still the best Stones live disc even if it did not use most of the preferred early show) and L.A Friday. There's also the live 1971 stuff from the Deluxe Sticky Fingers and there's also the Marquee Club and Live In Texas DVDs which have CD versions.

    Recorded/released in 1985 - not a 70s live album...

You've got Bob Marley and the Wailers - Live! on your list, so you may as well add the almost-as-iconic double-LP Babylon By Bus [1978]

The ghosts of Steve Marriott and Greg Ridley respectfully ask you not to associate Humble Pie's "Performance Rockin' the Fillmore" with KISS.
    Thank You ;)

Maximum Darkness also has John Cipollina from Quicksilver Messenger Service on it but I like all of them.

Keep On Crinting - The Liberty/UA Years is a great place to start. It is a 2 cd set which contains a lot of their best material.

Rare Earth in Concert 1970 I think it was. In the realm of pop rock Neil Diamond's Hot August Night 72?

The BBC one was never an official release I don't believe, just a recording from their BBC TV appearance (although maybe it did appear on the recent box set ?) but if you're thinking of the foursome on the King Biscuit Special CD, now THATS worth revisiting time and time again...
