I have only seen one for sale in 10 years of looking on eBay. It went for $80.00. It is available as a lossless download from Rob’s Bandcamp page.

A comment on the Discogs page states: “Both albums in this package have been mastered at the wrong speed. They play significantly slower than previous releases, which is a shame.”

    :(

None of their Mercury albums have ever seen CD release and the surviving members of the band are working on owning the rights to their Mercury albums.

'The Eyes Of A Stranger' by David Wills. Compared to his 1970s output, Wills developed a "new" sound and look for the 1980s.

I have a long list of 80s albums that never made it to CD. Most of these are of Dutch origin, however. Even bands that made the Dutch Top 40 or the album charts didn't make the transition. I guess the market is too small.

    For starters:
Margriet Eshuijs Band - On the move again, Right on time, Eye to eye
Daniel Sahuleka - Daniel, Sahuleka II (his third album Sunbeam did get a CD release, though only in Japan (!)
    Massada - Baru
    Solution - Live

And just cheating a bit with two of my most wanted Dutch bands from the 70s:
Water - The second day, Damburst
    Spin - Spin, Whirlwind
    Scope - Scope, Scope II

None of Rockwell's stuff (of Somebody's Watching Me fame) ever made it to CD. He made two more albums after the hit single in 1984 called "Captured" and "The Genie" which obviously didn't do too well. I'm kinda surprised there was never a budget compilation of his stuff on CD at some point, but then again not really.

Whoops. Would help to SLOWLY read the thread title :)

I wouldn't count Rarities since it was a silly comp.

Hollywood Bowl counts because it was supposed to be a Beatles album but got shot down.

Y Pants - Beat It Down was only issued on CD as part of a complete discography release. Needless to say, the CD is OOP.

Not an album but the singles and b-sides by Ronny need compiling, all have top-notch musicianship by the likes of Vangelis, Midge Ure, Rusty Egan and Peter Godwin. Add in her tracks with Yukihiro Takahashi and Zaine Griff and you have a nice, albeit short, album. Ronny

The first album is on CD in Japan. I believe this is the second time it has been released there.

Vanity's Motown albums never made it to CD.

1,000 likes! You and I are the ONLY guys who have requested this great album by Dan to be reissued on CD on this forum! Has no one else ever bothered to listen to this album, as it would be an instant favorite to anybody who loves radio ready pop music. I can't believe that the Japanese haven't reissued this one yet, especially since they have done tons of other similar albums that are far less worthy!
