It's amazing how out of touch with the world you get once you have children. They just become the center of your world, and everything just revolves around them: where you go, what you eat, what you watch on TV, etc. We have no idea what movies are out, and TV shows have come and gone un-noticed while - over the years - Teletubbies, Barney, Peppa Pig, The Doodlebops, et al drone on and on and on endlessly in the background for the past six years.

Anyway, just discovered 2Broke Girls tonight. Never even heard of it. It's been on since 2011, and I LOVE IT, LOVE IT, LOVE IT!! Any fans?

No joke I hate it lol
It has it's moments and I think the brunette is kinda sexy in a young Madonna kinda way, but the way that almost every sentence as to be a joke seems really forced for me.
I was glad to see Garret Morris again though.
I always loved him on SNL and he was great as the principal on the one season only show It's Your Move with Jason Bateman in 84/85

But 2 Broke Girls just seems to have too many over the top side characters as does Mike and Molly, where almost every line has to be a funny.
But since my wife watches what's ever on syndication I've seen plenty of both.

I didn't care for it. Watched the first handful of eps then dropped it.

Just the commercials alone are annoying. They make it look like the show is starting. I guarantee a handful of viewers change the channel as soon as the commercial starts, thinking it's the start of the show.

From what I can tell most everyone here hates this show. I'm a fan of the first two seasons, a fan of most of seasons 3 and 4, and a fan of about half of each of the few episodes I saw after that. Diminishing returns and all that.

It has a great cast but the writing is terrible. And Jennifer Coolidge, who is normally a scene stealer, is absolutely unwatchable. Her terrible accent and strange posturing throughout each scene are awkward.

What strikes me about this show is that the two girl's voices, and comedic personality, seem exactly the same. If I close my eyes I can't tell which one is speaking.

I'm sorry, but it's got to go. The women on that show sound like fingernails on a blackboard to me. Bad TV.

I liked it for the first season and a half, or so. They really amped up the sexual innuendos and the show became nothing but tacky and boring.

I've never watched this show, the few time I paused on it while flipping throught the channels is that the humor seems very forced. My wife hates this show with a passion. nails on a chalkboard to her.

The two female leads are both attractive and have great chemistry together, but as others have said, the humor is way too forced and unnecessarily vulgar at times for my tastes.

If and when I do watch it, it's really only to see her:

    Kat Dennings is hot.

That said, I've never made it through an entire episode of this show.

This. I'd say about a season (maybe less) of watchability, then tacky and boring. And the first season wasn't great--let's not go there. But it was watchable in a "my daughter wants to watch it so I'll pay attention occasionally as I surf the web" way.

    I can't believe it's still on. Or maybe I can :)

This was one of Whitney Cummings' two projects when it went to air, the other being her own show, Whitney.

The first season of Whitney was really good, IMHO, although it took a few episodes to find its balance. The second second season retooled things and wasn't as good. But both seasons were FAR better than Two Broke Girls.

I enjoy a little mindless TV. 2 Broke Girls serves the purpose.

I don't care for the show, but I also have a huge crush on Kat Dennings.

Here she is in Bob Schneider's "40 Dogs" video:
