Flaming Youth - Ark 2. Phil Collins finally allowed one track to be released on his "Plays Well With Others" box. But that's it. There are some boots out there but no proper release, right?
Any further details would be appreciated. Regarding improvements needed. Some say the stereo mix of AHDN is fine.
Man this is a great album, and I don't say that lightly. I believe I brought it up earlier in the the thread, but what the heck is deserves another go around. Absolutely maddening it's never been released on CD. I'd buy ten copies if it would help get it back out there.
I like the stereo mix of AHDN. The thread is about "still not on CD". The only legitimate stereo release is the 2009 CD, which I don't like. Thats why I listen to a gray area CD.
Barbara Mandrell Live - Wikipedia Barbara Mandrell Live is her biggest selling non greatest hits album and has never been on CD. Mandrell was listed as one of the artists who lost their masters in the Universal fire so I assume maybe that is why we will never see it.
D'you have 'I'll be Your Baby Tonight' on vinyl? If so, could you tell me if the song 'Lone Ranger' is the 1968 recording (available on CD/digital as a bonus track on the Light in the Attic re-release of Hazlewood's 'Something Special' album) or a new version? The same goes for 'She Comes Running' (is it the 'Love and Other Crimes' or '13' recording or new) and 'Stone Lost Child' (the 'Requiem for an Almost Lady' recording or new)?
This is really obscure, but Scatman John's first album "John Larkin." It only came out on vinyl, and a very limited release on vinyl as well. I wanted this so bad I actually contacted his wife on facebook to see if she possibly had the master tape. She didn't.
Definitely. There was a bootleg needle drop which doesn't count from a few years ago, but you'd think her live album would've been transferred to digital long before the 2008 fires allegedly consumed so many master tapes. With any luck, hopefully copies of the masters from this album still exist.
It's had two legit releases, firstly in Japan on Fontana in 1990 and then in Europe on Polydor in 1996 with two bonus tracks (Man, Woman and Child and Drifting).
