2018 movie awards season has begun

“BlacKkKlansman” - I didn't care much for this movie at all. At times it seemed silly which to me is strange, givin the subject. I don't like Spike Lee as a person, his politics have been a broken record for over 30 years. He's made, to me, some very good movies in the past."Get On the Bus", "Malcom X", and "Summer of Sam" are movies that I enjoyed very much. To me... this movie "BlacKkKlansman" falls short. I'll dig it out in a month or two and watch it again, maybe I missed something because I sure don't get the respect this movie is getting.
