Lady Gaga looks pretty when she's not in meat.

 

Surprised Gaga just won a Grammy for Joanne. I thought that was old news.

 

JLo's hat is the only thing bigger than her ego.

 

Love the chamber stuff! I recall, the Emerson String Quartet winning for Bartók...and it was my first classical purchase.
The Grammy's seem to know what they're doing in certain categories.

 

ARod looks like a Lets Make A Deal contestant.

 

The nomination committees are generally people who work in that genre, though everyone votes on everything. I wonder what percentage of ballots are incomplete, where members don't bother to vote in areas with which they are unfamiliar?

 

They are great, but the Grammys haven’t been good to them, sadly.

 

Is it bigger than her booty?

 

It looks like a mattress balancing on a bottle of wine.

 

I don't have any use for her music, but she was a decent actress in films like 1988's Out of Sight.

Pulling for Janelle Monae's Dirty Computer to win Album of the Year. I imagine they'll give it to Kendrick Lamar as penance for him not winning when he should have. What a weird system, right?

 

I failed the Bing Grammy quiz.

Oh well.

 

I vaguely pay attention to only two categories - Package Design and Best New Age album. I really just wonder who's nominated. Who wins is irrelevant.

I saw that and remembered Yoko showing up in some pretty impressive headwear. Anyone remember a Grammy ceremony from years ago when there were two people (a man and a woman) introducing a category--the woman was sporting an elaborate hat (it might have been Patti LaBelle?) and the male co-host remarked "Stevie (Wonder) you oughta see this hat!" Very funny and I'm thinking Stevie thought it was too.

 

Ah, it's another award show with a "message".

 

I've never actually watched the Grammy's....that won't be changing.
But then again I haven't watched any music awards show in at least 20 years.

 

I'm tapping out. They've already beaten me into submission.
