When I posted earlier, I had tried ordering a DVD box set. Since you seem to have luck with different kinds of items, now I tried ordering a CD box and then some replacement DVD cases. So far, I'm 0 for 3...

 

I tried a few different items this morning and none worked for me.

 

Same for me. Nothing I've tried works. I am a little miffed at ebay, because they've received lots of money from me over the past couple of years from their fees they charged on my ebay sales. It would have been nice to get this $25 discount.

 

Maybe I wasn’t clear. It worked for ONE thing (the overpriced lp), but did NOT work for a different item...

It seems to work for some people, and not others. The thread at Slickdeals has like 1,300 responses - with about 1/2 saying it worked, and 1/2 saying it did not. They've tried telling people what items they used it on and some people can't apply it even on that item. So it's definitely linked to accounts somehow.
