Bought the Rhino Very Best of the Rascals tonight.

Also saw the remaster of Eye in the Sky -- Alan Parsons Project, two discs by The Time, Bella Donna by Stevie Nicks, and Dylan's Infidels -- all in the $5 pile.

I saw the Alan Parsons Project Eye In The Sky remaster in the bin as well.

I dug in the bin at Walmart today, I saw just about all the CD's that have been reported in this thread in the one I was at today. It's hard to go through them all, they are buried in a big bin. I picked up 2 Madonna discs, Like A Prayer and Like A Virgin (RM), Huey Lewis-The Best Of, and Kiss-Destroyer.

I think someone mentioned it earlier in the thread, but if there's some title mentioned here that you can't find in the bin, be sure to check the "normal" CD racks too. I see lots of $5 discs that are filed in with the full-price ones at the WMs here.

Indeed, it can be a hodge podge at this point.
And there are plenty of $7.00 CDs. I was a teenager in the '90s, so if I see a CD I want for seven bucks, it still seems like a steal.

Yesterday I picked up 3 Tragically Hip CDs and The Crash Test Dummies "God Shuffled His Feet". 20 bucks for the 4. Great deal IMHO.

I bought some of the recent Elvis single disc remasters at WM for $5 and on Black Friday pulled some super cheap discs from Best Buy's bin (Ozzy & Heart titles).

While not at WM, I filled some holes today with NEW, SEALED cheap cds. These were $4 each after shipping from blowitoutahere on ebay....tons of new CDs....

POCO: Pickin up the pieces, Deliverin', Crazy Eyes, s/t
    Cheap Trick: Dream Police
BOC rm & expanded: s/t, Tyranny & Mutation
Kansas rm & expanded: Song For America, Masque

I may one day regret having all this tonage of common CD fodder with minimal resale value but I've been enjoying it and it completes my jukebox nicely.

Very Best Of The Everly Brothers I found today. Superb WB collection. Even the Cadence era re-recordings are superb. Audiophile heaven.

But Ebony Eyes is the fake stereo version rather than the original mono. It was first released in stereo on a Time-Life CD comp.

I got my copy of this CD a while back in the $5 bin.

Yes, it is the Rhino edition and here is the barcode and you can see the spine where it says Five Star Soul and the Elektra Traditions up top. I have no idea who this artist is, I just took the pic to remind myself to look it up later.

OK, yeah, I just looked her up on YouTube and I know "Forget Me Nots". It's a really good song, I've always liked it - I just never paid attention to who did it. I've got it on some 80s comps. :righton: I might go back and get the album now.
