$5,000 Samsung THX-Ultra 2 certified A/V receiver

The problem with Samsung (here in Russia at least, dunno about US) is that they are known as a cheap mass product Korean manufacturer, like LG. Not a very prestigious brand, I'm afraid. So the person who is ready to blow $5000 on a receiver will never buy this one simply because it's Samsung.

 

thx certification has become somewhat of a joke in the last few years anyway from what ive read. i believe theyve "certified" some rather crappy machines from what i remember.

 

It looks a lot like the Sony 9000ES digital receiver, but in an ugly way.
