Name 5 albums you consider to be perfect. Where everything comes together perfectly for you. The production, the lyrics, the vocals, the song order etc. Albums where you really wouldn't change a thing. Albums where you can't really find anything at all to complain about. Perfect albums.

    Al Stewart-Modern Times
    Al Stewart-Year Of The Cat
    Nils Lofgren-Nils Lofgren
    Leonard Cohen-Songs Of Leonard Cohen
    Big Country-The Crossing

It's not your 5 desert island discs, just 5 like the OP was angling for.

5; also, the list could change tommorrow. These, off the top of my head have that quality that the OP asked for. Records that have a thematic whole, where the songs flow together well. Luckily we aren't limited to 5 in real life. Looking at other post on in this thread, I already see several that could easily make my top 5 on any other given day: i.e.

    Miles Davis Kind of Blue
    Kinks Village Green
    Warren Zevon s/t
    Pretenders 1st
    Frank Sinatra Only the Lonely
