Just off the top of my head - studio albums only.

    The Who Who's Next
    The Pretty Things Parachute
    The Who Sell Out
    The Pretty Things Silk Torpedo
    The Move Shazam
John Entwistle Smash Your Head Against the Wall
Genesis A Trick of the Tail
    The James Gang Rides Again
    Joe Walsh Barnstorm
Procol Harum Exotic Birds and Fruit
    Steppenwolf For Ladies Only
Caravan In the Land of Grey and Pink
Caravan For Girls Who Grow Plump in the Night
It Bites Once Around the World
    Sally Oldfield Three Rings
    Mountain Climbing
    Quatermass s/t

    Some that are close:
King Crimson Red - the band should have held back 'Fracture' from Starless and Bible Black and replaced 'Providence' with it.
King Crimson In the Court - they should have made 'Moonchild' into a proper song rather than the meandering nothing that it turned into.
The Who Quadrophenia - leave off the intro 'I Am the Sea' and it's 5/5. The album should have kicked off with the blast of 'The Real Me'.
The Pretty Things S.F. Sorrow - leave out 'The Journey' and it's 5/5. They could easily have replaced it with 'Walking Through My Dreams' or 'Talking About the Good Times' or both.
Genesis Wind and Wuthering - leave out 'Wot Gorilla' and it's 5/5.
Procol Harum Grand Hotel - leave out 'A Rum Tale' and it's 5/5.
Siouxsie and the Banshees Superstition - leave out 'Softly' and it's 5/5.
Caravan Better By Far - leave out 'Silver Strings' and it's 5/5.
Steppenwolf Monster - leave out the un-PC named instrumental 'Fag' and it's 5/5.

lol post all your favourite albums from your favourite bands lol

to my taste, there are hundreds of five star albums in my collection ... a couple of not great songs don't stop an album being a five star album to me. I kind of view an album as one thing with many parts. For example - sgt pepper doesn't contain all a class number one songs, but it is a heck of an album

Hmm, tough choice. Luxury of Life has the great 'System Addict', but Silk and Steel has 'Can't Wait Another Minute', Find the Time', 'Rain or Shine'. 'Can't Wait Another Minute' and 'The Slightest Touch' which are all top notch pop songs, so I think I'd go with S&S too.

Take Me With You is rather naff. Computer Blue shouldn't have been included in its edited form.
