A great track from the debut album by The Babys. Forget the singles and enjoy deep tracks like this classic...

The first band i got into in a serious way when i was a wee laddie was Slade. They rocked and had loud guitars, oh and they had a fantastic singer. This is from their great live album Slade Alive!
This is an amazing live version of Born to be Wild, really heavy.

Michael Des Barres first band. I never explored the second, but the first one is quite good with production by Martin Birch.

The central Florida based rock band Tin House, who signed with Epic Records right out of highschool and were produced by Rick Derringer. Their music had an alligator bite and was brimming with high energy.

One of my favorite albums from the early 70's. It is a shame they never followed up this stellar debut album before changing style and imploding

another obscure 70's band that included Keith Relf (Yarbirds) and Bobby Joe Caldwell ( Johnny Winter And, Captain Beyond) on drums. Only had one album before accidently Relf electrocuted himself.

Indian Summer is a great album. I like to 'discover' obscure hard/heavy rock bands from the late 60s thru the 70s.
Buffalo-Volcanic Rock from 1973 is a good example of excellent heavy rock that mostly flew under the radar.
