70s Hard Rock Listening/Discussion Thread

    How about the drum sound in this song (YouTube quality notwithstanding)? Marc Bell from the band Dust from 1972 playing in a totally different style then he would later in the Ramones.

    I like your thread separate, as is. We're all over the map with the eras in your thread, plus you originally set it up as a review type thing where folks could post reviews (although hardly anyone follows that format).

    This is cool, though; long live the “70’s Hard Rock Listening/Discussion Thread”!

    I submit The Damnation of Adam Blessing. The first two albums are very good.

    The Red Rocker opened for Boston on their 1979 tour. I saw him/them twice on that tour and that was the first time I ever heard this song (Bad Motor Scooter). His live album from that period, All Night Long, is quite good.

    Wow. Brings back great memories. Saw these guys live in San Francisco. Ronnie Montrose is an amazing guitarist. If you haven't heard the original recording, give it a listen. The album is called "Montrose." The whole album is this good - and better.
