    Jimmy Page ...... it may be the only way to actually get him back on stage if he's got 10 other people already out there waiting for him.

    "The Best" played Japan in 1990
    Keith Emerson, Joe Walsh, Jeff "Skunk" Baxter, John Entwistle, and Simon Phillips -- that's an all-star band.

    At this time, I'd think it'd have to be someone whose popularity at it's height in the 1980's since that period is now considered 'oldies.' Someone like either Hall or Oates, Jon Bon, or even Max Weinberg would probably be good ones to front a band of all-stars.

    I remember an old thread, we discussed who today could do an all-star band, and Dave Grohl seemed to come out on top. And I agree.
