So a couple weeks ago I watched this on web.
I don't recall ever seeing this ? it was made before I was born.
Anyways I thought it was funny.. one thing at the end
Snoopy pulls a full turkey dinner from his dog house.
He starts to eat it and so does woodstock and he's smiling
While eats the turkey.. talk about a little dark bird on bird.
I laughed hard when I seen this.

There is a short documentary on the DVD where they talk about this. The makers of the show apparently had many arguments about whether or not it was ok to show Woodstock eating another bird.

Woodstock eating another bird is no more "cannibalistic" that humans eating another mammal, which I do pretty much daily.

Pretty sure that Woodstock eating a bird is about the only realistic portrayal of a bird in the entire Peanuts universe.

All I know is it isn't officially Thanksgiving for me till I see Snoopy throwing down with that uncooperative folding chair.

Actually what we learned from this cartoon is that Woodstock IS a bird of prey - and they'll never see it coming!

I'm pretty sure there's an old Donald Duck cartoon or comic book where he sits down to a Thanksgiving turkey dinner with Huey, Dewey, and Louie, too.

In Georgia we have a different barbecue place on every corner and EVERY ONE has a sign featuring a pig wearing a chef's hat.

    Now THAT'S cold.

If snoopy is man's best friend, why doesn't he offer up the turkey for Charlie Brown's thanksgiving meal? Why cook toast and popcorn when you have a bird in the oven in the dog house?
