Wow, that is great stuff. I knew about the code that Information Society put into their track "300bps N, 8, 1", but that was 8 years later in 1992.

Wasn't it easier to print those quotes in the LP sleeve?
Very interesting video, but I was expecting the meaning of life to be found in that runout groove.

Good god -- that first link is excruciating. Dude could take half an hour to explain how to pull a kleenex from a box. Some serious editing is in order.

I don't know what I care about less here:

Christian Rock music or Commodore 64 software.

Not music related, but the most interesting extra I heard of was an edition of Tiger Woods Golf (Playstation I think), someone put a South Park pilot on. From before syndication, I think it was Jesus vs. Frosty.

Pete Shelley’s 1983 LP ‘XL-1’ included a ZX Spectrum programme on initial copies.

Prodigal was on a pretty obscure record label (even by gospel standards), Heartland Records. The other Heartland artists didn't have a lot of staying power in the business. The wax in the OP video won album of the year by CCM magazine, however. They had a good fifteen minutes in the spotlight, also making videos that TBN played.
