You've largely succeeded in what I gave up on... finding a track where the title is just the name of the state. Oregon Girl, though. Let me help you out with that one...

Old Crow Medicine Show - Wagon Wheel

Headed down south to the land of the pines
And I'm thumbin' my way into North Caroline

I made it down the coast in seventeen hours ..
And I'm a hopin' for Raleigh

Runnin' from the cold up in New England

Walkin' to the south out of Roanoke
I caught a trucker out of Philly....
But he's a headed west from the Cumberland Gap
    To Johnson City, Tennessee

And if I die in Raleigh
At least I will die free

Not all states, but certainly a tour of several areas

Thanks, I tried to find a song called Oregon that was not an instrumental but couldn't find one.

But there's no song called "Illinois" on the album. Just Chicago...

Funny, I had never heard this song before you posted it yesterday, and then I just heard it again in a grocery store half an hour ago. You might end up being right about that earworm thing.

I love this song, but the states aren’t mentioned in the title, which is what I was looking for.

Well, there's "Come on! Feel the Illinoise!" (with an "e" at the end). Not sure if that counts ...

Third verse is about as sad as it gets, especially with the lap steel guitar:

“I work the graveyard shift at a restaurant
    Somewhere out on 281
A stranger came into the place
And said she saw a sunset in my face”

I just gave this a listen for the first time. Nice song. Thanks for the tip.

I would imagine that song titles consisting only of the state name are the gold standard here, and I can offer two:

    Sonic Youth - "New Hampshire"
    Low - "Missouri"
