I agree with this, the song is undeniably dorky but it's still enjoyable.

Did "Love Isn't Easy" make its U.S. debut on that box set (1994)?

"Love Isn't Easy" throws in everything but the kitchen sink (tympani, xylophones, falsetto vocals) but it doesn't hang together very well. I couldn't wait for it to fade out. "I'm just a Girl" is total Eurovision (after I Do I Do I Do I Do you'll never hear the likes of this again)

I'd forgotten all about this single. That's how significant it is in the big picture.

She's sad because, while the couple next to her are making out, the dork she's with is more interested in reading his pamphlet. [Some Swedish person please translate what he's reading!]

I love "Love Isn't Easy"! By far my favorite track on the first album.

Here’s an outtake from the Greatest Hits cover.

The image, used to illustrate their Greatest Hits album, is so huge, covering one wall, that the text on the paper is now clearly discernible. "I'm reading about antibiotics, I don't know why," Bjorn laughs.

So Agnetha has that expression because Björn just told her he's given her a "social disease"?

It’s probably their best LP sleeve.

Of course that’s not saying much.

    I prefer the back cover.

That’s hilariously bad. ABBA suffered from 70s fashions nearly as much as Karen Carpenter.

That album would have sold a million plus in Australia. They were selling it at supermarkets.

Some of the early sleeves must be why from "Arrival" they insisted on official designs being used -

Frida looks older than she was at the time. Definitely not a good look.

I consider Ring Ring their first single with a typical ABBA sound, and the first one which I really liked. People Need Love and He Is Your Brother aren't bad, but I wouldn't bother listen to them twice if ABBA wouldn't have released much better material later.

Abbas fashion was often very embarrassing. They either banned stylists or had a deep phobia of them?

Hi Bobbie!. This had a limited UK release in 2006. It had the cartoon cover gatefold with the park bench picture inside.

Some of their fashion and marketing was often dreadful. No wonder they weren't taken seriously by many, which is a shame as they are consummate professional.

Its definitely worth having if you really love Abba. The black CD is designed to resemble an LP.

To be honest, I was put off because it had been remastered. It was designed like the ‘blue box’ discs which I have and didn’t like the sound of at all. I thought the GH would be more of the same.:)

The US 80s CD sounds great. Even though it annoys me that Hasta Manana isn’t on it.
