Abbey Road has always been the most modern sounding Beatles LP. And, it sounds different than all previous EMI Beatles recordings due to the use of a solid state mixing board at the Studio. It sounds...different, warm and inviting. I don’t know a remix could improve a lot. Maybe here and there. There are a few things I would love to hear, for example, bringing forward the buried but great backing vocals on a few songs, notably Oh Darling.

Here is an album where I wouldn’t mind some isolated backing tracks, as some of the ones (since taken down) I’ve heard are breathtaking. The isolated vocals for the medley give me goosebumps. Hearing Paul, George and Ringo nail the rhythm track on Here Comes The Sun...

I’d love a Anniversary release, but the team might have to be at the most restrained when remixing, that’s all...

Yes, "You Never Give Me Your Money" is five minutes long uncut. The rest were as-is.

There's a long version of Something with an unused string part that was excised at the last minute.

A control room recording of George's reaction to watching Yoko get up out of bed, walk across the studio and take his last digestive biscuit, remixed and set to a sample of Ringo's "Come Together" drum track.

THIS is one of the things I'd like to have most

The awe-inspiring George Martin orchestral arrangement on 'Something'. Beautifully mixed in stereo

I would still like a 5.1 of this ... Super deluxe is normally the only way I can get them, but I would really prefer a stand alone, i'm getting really burnt out on shelling out a hundred bucks plus for one disc

This is a release you get purely for the outtakes because I’m not sure if Giles Martin can make this one sound better than the original.

Maybe Giles can't, but someone could. 50 years of digital technology can certainly not be dismissed !

Yes! Between those strings, Paul's soaring bass line, Ringo's classic rolling tom fills, George's amazing solo..."Something" might be possibly my favorite arrangement on a Beatles album.

With 50 pictures taken from the same place so that you can see the transformation of the street over the last half century.
Of course they would copy paste the Beatles crossing on every picture.

According to the wonderful 'Complete Beatles Chronicle' by Mark Leweisohn, the Abbey Road recording sessions began on Tuesday 1 July.

"Twenty two days this month saw the Beatles studio action and the group block-booked the 2:30-10:00 pm slot in the studio two every weekday from 1 July until 29 August"
