$77.42 at Import CDs listed earlier plus the !0% off, there are probably others but I did not investigate further.

 

There's an amazon warehouse about 80 miles east of us, although CDs usually come from further away.

 

I would think so. They won't add anything to your order after the fact.

I preordered a video game that had no release date and I knew was not anywhere close to release, but there was a product page for it and Amazon was doing away with its 20% prime preorder discount so I was put in an order. Then a few months later it was announced the developers were starting over from scratch. So now the game is probably 2-3 years out, but I still have my preorder with 20% off.

 

True, they never change the sum in the order, you get a message when it's shipped and than tell you what was the lowest.

 

Nuh uh. Look at "View or Change order". The lowest price that you have been illegible for should be reflected there. That's what I get in the U.S., anyway.

(They may have started this fairly recently, I suppose -- as I don't really recall it being the case in the past.)

 

I've looked at "View or edit order" and "Order details", and don't see any mentioning of the lowers price I am illegible for.

 

They changed the sum of this order once before. And it would not be shipped because I will cancel it at this price.

Look at the original invoice that came when you placed the order if you still have it

Now look at the order - the current (lower) price is what youll pay (if you dont cancel)

No , there is no mentions of lower prices that you're eligible for

its adjusted automatically

 

The point is- it wasn't adjusted when the last price drop happened. It was adjusted with the previous drop.

For the most part. Twice I had a pre-order and they cancelled it a few days after release...the email stated they had no stock. In both cases they had stock in about two weeks, once it was just as low as the pre-order price so I re-ordered and received the cd set.

 

Aren't Deep Discount, Import Cds and Blowitouthere the same company ?

 

Deep Discount and Importcds.com are run by the same company, DirectToU, LLC.

 

Collector's Choice Music is also part of the same company.

 

Amazon.ca updated my $37 order of super deluxe with a delivery date: October 3-9. Not a bad sign I guess.

 

Holy moly! Amazon Canada just emailed me with delivery info for the super deluxe set - at a bargain price of $35.69!!!! Bingo!!!! I won't have it on release day, but Amazon Music Unlimited will keep me until actual CD delivery.

Fingers crossed.

 

I just received my delivery dates from Amazon.ca as well! Oct. 9-22. I can wait that long.
