Tell them that we need Revolver remixed and bring in the crew who produced yellow submarine soundtrack as consultants for mixes with Giles. please. And ask why no 5.1 outtakes like imagine. That's a great one

It’s too bad then that half of the outtake CD is nothing new other than Her Majesty jammed into the medley, which we could basically do ourselves.

Because they need to sell it again? Also, only the 3 vinyl set is half mastered, right?

But you're right about the German vinyl. They are masters. Some complain about a swooshing and I have never heard this or seen it on the spectrum when analyzed.

Search the QRP from last year's release, all hell broke loose

Please tell them a Magical Mystery Tour super deluxe box set would also be great to have.

I'm thinking about getting the box set and triple vinyl set.
But probably will ignore/forget the latter... as I unfortunately did the same with Sgt. Pepper (2LP) and the White Album (Studio/Esher Demos set).

Video content was only in the Sgt. Pepper box set. I very hope we'll get more restored footage (in HD) on an Anthology expanded set sometime.

I'm defiantly getting the Deluxe 4 Disc set as well as the 3LP set. One for listening and the other for the book but I am considering getting the 1LP and the 1CD. The 1LP just because It's my favourite Beatles album and I would mind having it just because it's a tiny bit different and the 1CD because I'm probably going to stick it in the CD changer of my car.

If you are buying the Super Deluxe just for the book, no need to buy the 1 CD edition for your car, it's the same as CD1 on the SDE.

Most of the tracks were only partly complete at that point though, some lacking significant overdubs.

Is it hating to say the original stereo mix of Rubber Soul could stand to be improved upon? It’s a poorly done mix. Half of the tracks sound as if they were pinned in the red. It is what it is.

I was hoping that Apple will produce a “making of” or “classic albums” type documentary for these album reissues - cover track by track, have Giles walk us through the tapes like he did for the few YouTube previews.

I agree with Tommy. This is even worse than revolver. I had pursued a first press thinking maybe it'd make me like it more. It's not good.. At all. Mono wins this one. I can see why the Capitol added the reverb, to get it to spread out that mix
