He's already stated during Covid-19 that he has written new material. I believe he has started recording from him home studio

Yes, he definitely did say that in a few interviews and why not. He's making up for lost time since getting sober and it's great that he's staying active in lockdown. Hey, what are home studios for? Well, I dunno if he has one now that he's moved back East again.

He said in a few interviews he moved back East with his new girlfriend, I believe New Jersey. I'm sure one of those interviews is with Eddie Trunk (did you know he's known Ace for thirty years, Eddie will tell you each time), and I'm pretty sure he says it in a few others as well. San Diego is where he lived with his ex that is continually threatening KISS and selling Ace's belongings that he didn't take with him.

Ah yes, Rachael Gordon. Wasn't she trying to do a Gofundme page for something like $50k to assist with her bills?

The one and only. She and Wendy Moore should hook up and have a new joint book.

My initial impression is that this is a solid record! Not phenomenal, and inconsistent, but your mileage will probably vary on that front depending on factors like how familiar you are with the songs. My biggest problem is with the production and mastering. As with Ace’s last few records, the sound is thin/flat/compressed, and the auto-tune on his vocals is annoying for the most part.

Lola, We Gotta Get Out of This Place, I’m Down and Kicks all sound great to me. Especially love how he really accentuated the melody on the Animals track. I’m not feeling the guest vocals on Jumpin’ Jack Flash and 30 Days at all, though, and the Manic Depression cover is a big disappointment. Overall, I’m having fun exploring the album.

Yeah, I'm half-way into this album, too. But, I chide myself when I consider the fact that he's 69 years old, and he really has overcome the odds. When I think like that, I'm glad to have it!

I'd give it a 3/5 score, some decent versions of these classic tunes. Ace has such a distinct sound/style so I have to ask how much if his playing is on this record? most of the lead work is far too polished to be Ace.

The cover of Jumpin' Jack Flash is one of the best Stones covers I've ever heard.
