Wait. So Acoustic Sounds won’t have a separate sale for Xmas?!

 

i would assume theyd have one the week after xmas/new years, you know get everyone to use those gift cards...

 

They had a 15% sale last year, almost to the day. I made an order on 12/22.

 

time to keep the eyes open!

 

Someone posted somewhere that AS has been slammed like never before. I could see them avoiding any additional sales right now just to catch up.

 

I’m crossing my fingers they’ll have a sale.

 

Well if Music Direct or Elusive Disc have a sale, then we can be sure that all 3 will be having a sale as usual

 

I’ve spent way too much on music this year.

Tough part for me living in Canada is getting the stuff up here without exorbitant shipping and customs fees.
In the past it was easy, ship to a nearby US address, but that not an option right now

I called and asked Acoustic Sounds two days ago if there would be a sale. They said no. :/

 

they probably werent sure if Elusive Disc and Music Direct were as they didnt send out an email until both of them did

 

With this new holiday coupon I was able to grab my first Analog Productions LP and some other stuff I've been wanting to grab. Recently started to really care about what pressings I buy to start building up a nicer collection. Quality over quantity.

My order included:
Pet Sounds 33rpm Stereo
Lee Morgan - The Sidewinder Classic Series
Fleetwood Mac Rumors 33rpm and 45rpm. Wanted to see the difference
Neil Young Hitchhiker
Nirvana MTV Unplugged

 

I did the same and just received them. Curious to know what you think.

 

When I get the chance to listen to them, I'll be sure to reply with my novice thoughts and opinions!

I contemplated an order too but with shipping challenges and bills to pay (and a huge backlog I haven’t played yet) I decided I didn’t need anything right now.
