Flies. Why did it have to be flies?

  4. He was so creepy as the chauffeur in Burnt offerings.

He will always be the "Foul Owl" late night employee to me. Plus of course his confession
at the end of the film.

Damn... RIP. A truly great character actor.

First thing I ever saw him in was actually an episode of Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. He owned that episode! Love him in Unforgiven.

That reminds me, I have not seen Vanishing Point in several years, seems like it's never on cable.
I've never seen the remake with Viggo Mortensen, I assume it's not very good.

Quincy was my favorite show back in the late '70s, I never missed an episode. Anthony James was in an episode in a somewhat small but memorable role as a junkie, who was briefly a murder suspect until Quincy quickly ruled him out as the killer.
His performance in that episode really stood out.

Didn't recognize the name but his face was very familiar from many films and TV shows.

One of those guys who made a big impression as an actor, even if you didn’t know his name. Can’t find many details about his personal life, other than he spent his life caring for his mother, who died in 2008.

    RIP, Anthony James

I only saw it when it aired on TV years ago, but that TV movie was better than I thought it would be.

Another Anthony James role popped into my head today, he had a small role as a bad guy in Blue Thunder, the movie with Roy Scheider flying a helicopter-on-steroids dangerously throughout L.A.
If that movie was made today it would have to be mostly CGI

Yes, he didn't have a lot of screen time with that role, but he was very effective in it. You could tell what a cold, cunning criminal he was.
