William Shatner does look really good & he wears sensible hair pieces. Another thing that I think help him, he is not rail thin. His face is round so it smooths out wrinkles. As opposed to some rock stars who look young from the neck down.

  4. Hollywood "Golden Age"-era child/teen film star and later, iconic TV spokeswoman (as Josephine the Plumber in numerous Comet cleanser TV commercials and print ads during the 1960s), actress Jane Withers is still with us, age 95.

New interview. Dick still seems as sharp as ever.

And sadly we lost Dick Donner today. He's probably as responsible for the superhero boom in movies today as anyone else. His Superman became a template for superhero origin stories in movies, especially through Spider-Man, Batman Begins, Iron Man and others. He had a producer credit on X-Men, although he said his wife was the one who was actively involved with it. X-Men was the transition movie that took us out of the dark, violent antihero phase of '90s superhero movies spurred on by Burton's Batman and into the much more story and character-oriented Marvel phase that led to the MCU. Donner was still actively developing Lethal Weapon 5 according to interviews in the past couple of years. Goonies 2 was always an off and on possibility. Those two are a lot less likely to ever happen now.

I was doing a show at CBS in 1989. Next door, Jackie Mason was doing his Chicken Soup sitcom, and I encountered him just once. I admitted to using one of his jokes on my friends when I was a teenager. He was very forgiving once I assured him it got laughs.
