They were successful. The charts prove that too. Why is the concept we're going for here being missed by a few? Ed
Jared Leto. He's an Oscar winner. But I don't think Thirty Seconds to Mars is a great band. I like some of their songs TBH.
A tiny amount of members are on the perpetually offended neopuritan bandwagon and are addicted to virtue signaling by telling others what to do. The giveaway was referring to the guy with the bow tie.
Rick Springfield - ten years before General Hospital and not eligible for this thread (incidentally that's Beeb Birtles from Little River Band playing bass).
Yeah i thought about him but I do like a few songs off that first 30 seconds to mars album and he does look the part of a rockstar.
Dwayne Hickman, of TV's "Dobie Gillis".... "School Dance": He can't sing, and neither can his backup singers. Early 60's exploitation records are kind of a cheap shot, as most "Teen Idol Actors" weren't actual singers...But this one is a special case...tons of fleabag labels thought they might snag the next Ricky Nelson...
When i was growing up here in Australia Rick Springfield was in a very successful band named Zoot. I even bought one of his solo singles when i was a kid. Quite a few of his albums have been in the American charts. I wouldn't call him a rock star, but he is a legitimate musician.
