Triple wow! It's a no brainer, I'm in. And we are getting the GH2, too? This would be awesome!

Seems like the good old days of DCC are back.... :shh:

    Exactly.

Man, that bass drum on "I shall be released" coupled to non-screeching harmonica, that should be something. I have had 3 various cd's of this, but cannot wait for the right one.

Don't have much to add, except to say this is the most excited I've been about an AF release for some time!

This is the best news that I've read in ages. Bring it on. Could this be the fastest selling AF CD?

That was my first Dylan LP purchase too, back around '77-'78 was I was 13 or 14.

I'll be sure to get this new CD, although just 10 Dylan songs lovingly remastered by Steve will leave me with a greater itch needing to be scratched.

Did I miss the announcement for GHII? Could someone please direct me to a link for that?

Also, the topic for this thread is Bob Dylan's Greatest Hits by Bob Dylan, so let's keep the conversations to that release and the tracks pertaining to that release. Thanks!

    Magic, haven't owned this years!
GH vol 2 would be incredible, although I can only imagine how long that would take to put together..

Youknow it's funny, this was the first CD I ever bought. I am looking forward to it.

Does anyone know how many they are pressing. This one's sure to sell out fast!

WOW! I already have this album 3 times. As many have said, this was the first Bob Dylan album I ever bought - still have it. Plus, I have my original Japan for US CD & the Greg Calbi/Bob Irwin remaster.

I'm down for this again! Marshall: Go for Volume 2...and 3 if you can get 'em!

Awesome news. I can't wait to have this in my collection!

I hope this is the first of many Dylan Audio Fidelity releases.

I bought the U.K. CD on a trip there in 2001. It's a neat cover, and I had never seen it before.

I've seen no official announcement, but 5,000 copies seems to be the standard for Audio Fidelity gold CDs.

I also have the UK CD, bought in 1989 when it was first issued, This CD always sounded bad, as if it was a third generation cassette tape or something.
This AF is going to be cool.

I guess... AF will do only the Greatest Hits packages.

It may be easier to hear the difference on the Bringing It All Back Home songs. On the 80's CD, Subterranean and Tambourine Man have longer fades, and the muting of the rhythm section during the harmonica solo on She Belongs To Me is different, compared to the original stereo mix.
