An album cover that suggests the weirdness that awaits you inside ... while also falsely advertising the inclusion of "Quinn the Eskimo".

Jackie McLean, neatly captures the sense of urgency

Right Now! looks a little rawer, which totally fits the music, especially the alternate of the title cut which is both longer and more raw than the one issued initially which was still pretty raw.

Cannot agree more with this. I absolutely love this cover and it perfectly summises the music within. Early on in my fiscovery of Neil I was collecting his albums on CD and in 2009 TFA didnt exist on CD. So I was unaware of it entirely and even when I started collecting vinyl it took awhile before I came across one. So when I finally came across one in a store I was confused as to what it was and the tracklist was totally unrecognizable beyond Love in Mind and Journey Through the Past which I knew from Massey Hall.

I knew a huge portion of Neil's career was considered uninspired and to avoid at all costs and I just assumed this album must be from that time frame. But that cover art was way too captivating to me I figured even in the music was garbage at the very least the cover art was worth owning. But when I played it, it just had this sound this dark ragged emptiness that just perfectly fits the mood presented by that cover.

It's just one of thise perfectly captured moments. If you saw Bersteins negatives from that show I bet none of the other shots he took would be even remotely as interesting. Just a perfect fusion of moment, cover and music. One of the neatest things is a member here is actually in this photo right near the front! How cool is that?

The original cover for me at least invokes more of that sense of the music contained within. The revised is nice, but makes me think of todays modern electronic music (Metroland etc..) :)

The 'White Album' is a veritable kaleidoscope of ever shifting colours, but then they say white reflects all colours so maybe it does fit.
