"Arc" was the noise and feedback. "Weld" is a double live album with crazy horse, ragged and raw, a good listen

Dan Fogelberg is the greatest songwriter to come out of the USA, at least in my opinion, so good on Fischman! :righton:

In this house its known as The ****e Album.

So much hype. So little quality. There is a decent EP in there.

Wish is one of their greatest albums, and the one that got me into The Cure in the first place. Sadly it was to be their last really good album...

Definitely so! Flaming Pie is one of his latter-day greatest albums. McCartney 3 was a big disappointment after the excellent Egypt Station.

I love that song! Nice to hear Ringo on it as well. :righton:

Anything by the beige, bland Alan Parsons project. I own three of their albums.

No, of course we don't - bands like that should be legally prevented from releasing anything > 5 minutes.

But at least Post has a tune, of sorts. What's that other thing of theirs that's so long, it had to be split over 2 sides? Ex-ca-ROO-sheeating :faint:

Played it once upon release, and put it away. ~25 years later, was implored by a co-worker to give it another shot. I did. Nope. The intro and exit were the only enjoyable sections for me.

Great album art, though. And when visiting England for the first time in '88, as we headed into London and I wondered which landmark I would recognize first, the abandoned Battersea Station popped into view. It's now the hub of an entire developed neighborhood, with many luxury apartments and ever fewer affordable ones.

Steady on! At best, there's a double A-side.

I finally heard this about a month ago. Obviously its reputation preceded it, as did Hot Space's, but unlike the latter, I won't be giving that one a second chance.

I think you mean "Mountain Jam" from the Eat A Peach album. I've listened to the rest of the album a lot, which is a fine album, but I've never had the patience to listen to that live-over -2-sides track

I just don’t get it. Really don’t understand the vocal delivery either. Consequently, I haven’t listened to much else from them. Other than the song Codex. That one’s okay.

So you hate Radiohead... but you've listened to each of their albums twice.
