Is that possible? Wasn't her first album(at least) a digital recording?

Funny you should say that, I actually think they missed a trick with the remaster. They should have remastered it from the original analogue masters in line with the first pressing, then released it with the light blue triangle label, and the dark blue cover. they should have reproduced the original first pressing basically, as that is the best one (except for the pressing error on money)

I want all the Masters of Reality stuff reissued on vinyl. (I have some of them, mix of original and reissues, but I want the rest of them and I want others to be able to have them, too). The first album/Live At The Viper Room reissue package is one of my favorites in that style of reissue, a way of adding value to a reissue record's second (or in this case, third) chance at life. I kinda wish they would do more of those as double-LPs, with goodies from the vault on the second LP.

Sonny Sharrock Ask The Ages -- why hasn't this happened?

Actually, reissuing large chunks of titles on Bill Laswell's Axiom label from the '90s would be nice -- a lot of those were very spotty on vinyl, some were out there, some weren't. Bahia Black Ritual Beating System, Praxis, Axiom Funk, and a few others.

Another voice here to add to PJ Harvey and Fiona Apple reissues.

Stuff not mentioned yet in the thread that I want:

Alice in Chains - self titled and Facelift
Chris Cornell - Songbook (think this just need a repress tbh)
    Murs - Murray's Revenge
Rabih Abou Khalil - pretty much everything
Bugge Wesseltoft and Sidsel Enderesen - the 3 albums they did together on Jazzland
Pearl Jam - Vaults 1 &2, Benaroya Hall set and Lost Dogs

I discovered them a few years ago....very much like the early 80s pop I loved with Prefab Sprout and the other bands listed, like the Trashcan Sinatras.

(And your profile name reminds me of another artist whose work I really love - Ned Doheny)

Would love to see the original Ride albums reissued, particularly:
    Going Blank Again
    Carnival of Light
    Tarantula

Their first album Nowhere has had a couple of limited reissues in recent years but sold out quickly and now go for high prices, such as:
    Ride - Nowhere

I'm really surprised that more of Fiona's work wasn't reissued after Tidal, which by all accounts was well done and a big success for VMP.

A large amount of Ravi Shankar's back catalogue , especially his more 'progressive' records:

    Raga (Apple album)
Shankar Family and Friends (Dark Horse album)
    Tana Mana
Chants of India (produced by George Harrison)

  21. On the Intervention thread, Shane stated he wasn't able to secure the rights, so perhaps someone is already up to it?

Not a reissue per se as it was never issued on vinyl in the first place (I don't think.) A vinyl pressing of Coverdale/Page. Preferably part of a well done deluxe box set.

Anything on the Tower /Sidewalk record labels. Who really owns that stuff?
The Smoke, Mondo Hollywood, Riot on Sunset Strip, etc.
Why was Sundazed able to reissue Davie Allen and the Arrows but not other stuff from them?
