Has anyone tried use a group stock image and adding at the bottom of the entry something like ' "UK cover" ?

I'd be willing to bet it would be. Go ahead and list it that way and see how long it stays.

My god - its forty years (+/-) since the 1960's. Some things about the US are headed backwards it seems.

I guess it's the fact that you're pushing it on their site and they know what the photo is already.

Is the recently released 2 CD Deluxe version meeting the same fate? I just saw it in a record store yesterday and it has the apparently offending cover as well.

It would be interesting to see a powerseller list one. It would probably stay put.

The 2 CD version is out of print - if you see it buy it.

Don't all of them have the "UK cover" in the booklet ? You would just turn the booklet inside out to show the "UK cover" on the front of the case regardless of how it was packaged originally.

Yep, that's from a powerseller also. Interesting how ebay operates. Different rules for different sellers, depending on how much money you're bringing in for the company.

I didn't have time to wade through 11 pages of posts, so if it's already been said, my apologies, but...

Led Zeppelin's Houses Of The Holy is better?

Now the original (and controversial) Scorpions "Virgin Killer" LP cover has created a Wikipedia censorship debate in the UK.

To implement the blocking of one article (at the inititiate of the "Internet Watch Foundation"), access to the whole Wikipedia site (i.e. more than 2.500.000 articles) has been rerouted by the main UK ISPs, which creates problems for Wikipedia authors.

Wikipedia page censored in the UK for 'child pornography' (The Guardian)

Virgin Killer births mass edit ban (The Register)

Of course the album cover can be found with the Google image seach on many websites, including Amazon.

Isn't there some world peace or hunger they could be concerned with as opposed to something as important as this?

    :/

ebay is an unethical monopoly. period.
principles are more important than material objects.
