Congratulations on these remarkable milestones! I stumbled upon the site doing a random music search one day and snooped for a while until learning about the fabled 45RPM release of “Rumors” back around 2011 when I joined the discussion. I’ve learned much here about finding great recordings and discovering some new music. I find the discussions enlightening and often times very amusing! A silly thread I recall was one called “Death to False Yacht Rock.” Who knew one could learn what is and isn’t “yacht rock” here? Thanks for providing this space for music lovers to share!

Longtime member (November 2002!), infrequent poster but daily visitor. So much knowledge gained here and I've given some thoughts of my own, for better or worse, over the years. Thanks for everything and thanks to everyone behind the scenes making it tick.

SHF taught me there multitudes of opinions and tastes in music and they're all wrong except for mine.

100,000 is the number of times members posted that their copy of an album sounded NOSEY and 25,000,000 is the amount of times members posted that their copy of an album sounded NOISY.

1,000,000 posts, 900,000 of them asking about the best sounding Abbey Road or a "quick" question about The Who's catalog LOL

These posts above, and the impressive 1 Millionth post milestone, got my curiosity up, so I went and checked the notable members section, and it turns out that over HALF! of those 1 Million post were from just 5 members, the Top Five Posters: Grant, Oatsdad, Michael, Alexpop and our Host!

So, together, those 5 have posted herein over 500,000 times!

    WOW!

Whenever I get a new device (phone, PC, tablet etc), THIS site is the first bookmark that I put in my favourites/bookmark list.

    Says it all really.

Congratulations to all on this benchmark and thank you to everyone for making my long days at work much more bearable.

    Cheers all :righton:
