Its listed on the website as #9.73, but it is not available at that price, the cheapest is $28.84 plus postage from USA??
Thanks again @Big Swifty - arrived today and got a nice surprise - it's the limited clear vinyl version with the white cover!
I received a couple of Blu-rays from amazon UK that had substantially bent cases. One of them was also cracked and had a tear running down both the inner and outer back sleeves. I thought I was exceedingly polite (unusual for me!), yet they straight up offered me a refund, plus a $20 credit! Would’ve been happy with a % discount, but I wasn’t gonna say no!

I had 2 albums turn up from Amazon UK a few weeks back, bent like bananas (hot in England warehouses??) I was going to return it to the UK, with a refund on the shipping from Amazon, but it became obvious that even with the Amazon refund, I was going to be $8 worse off if I did. So I cancelled the Return before I sent it, and just emailed Amazon support for a better solution. They immediately credited my entire order, and let me keep the warped LP's. YMMV....but probably not if you try.
So my DHL Express package of the Mozart Complete Edition left Europe really quickly, going from Poland to Germany and then off to Australia in the space of about 12 hours. The issue now is that it has landed in Melbourne, so I'm worried the COVID restrictions and possible backlog will see it delayed. The last DHL Express package I had from Amazon luckily bypassed Melbourne.
I've had 2 DHL Express packages delivered to me over the last two weeks in Melbourne. Basically arrived in Melbourne one day, sent to local distribution centre, then delivered to me the next day. Given that things are working well within Melbourne I expect your package will quickly get sent to wherever you are.
Someone must have snagged it. There was only one in stock. Sometimes even if somebody has bought the last copy, the low price will still show, but won't be available to buy at the low price.
Rick Nelson - Bright Lights & Country Music / Country Fever (2LP on 1CD) (Ace) @ $8.60 https://www.amazon.com.au/BRIGHT-LIGHTS-COUNTRY-FEVER-NELSON/dp/B000007O74
Yes as soon as I can get there (more than 5kms from my house), I will. He always does his best for me.
Well the good news is my DHL tracking updated to show the package leaving Melbourne Thursday afternoon. Just have to hope it comes in Friday morning and goes out for delivery.
Is there any easy way to ask Amazon Oz why an item on the UK store isn't available here? I'm interested in https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mahler-Sym...ag=bluraycom-21&linkCode=xm2&m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE but entering the ASIN to the Oz store I get https://www.amazon.com.au/Mahler-Sy...d=1&keywords=B000VXLHWG&qid=1601003657&sr=8-1 which only shows the item available from an expensive reseller. Though this example is classical, I've had the same problem with rock releases as well.
What options do you pick to ask about something which isn't shown on Amazon Oz? The system seems designed to make it impossible to ask this
Choose 'Prime or Something Else' From Dropdown 2 - choose 'other non order question' From 3, hit the 'email' button and write a short note with your question in the box presented. Hit 'Send e-mail' and they'll get back to you within 1-5 hours (usually)
The reply, just under 2 hours after sending, included: I have relayed the information to our catalog team, they will work with the vendor to get this item to be available on amazon.com.au. Once it is sorted, the item will be available for purchase from amazon.com.au site too. It will take around 4-5 weeks for our team to get this sorted. So probably no good for picking up the current special, but good to get the item into the Amazon Oz site. So, assuming that this does happen, a halfway good response in this case.
Bit of a roller coaster today. Shipping updates, then delay updates, then Amazon saying October 8th, then DHL putting it out for delivery and it finally showing up 1 hour before I head home from work. This thing is immense, I thought the Naxos Beethoven Complete Edition was big at 90 CDs, and this Mozart Complete Edition is almost double that!
