Whilst I am not at all familiar with this band, I have taken a punt as it certainly looks interesting. Thanks!

Me too - I was tempted by Arthur but decided not to get it as I already had the 'lost' Dave Davies album. I wasn't even tempted by Lola as there was almost nothing new on it.
Thanks for the recommendation on this one, really enjoyed it and as usual from Ace, a really nice package. The surprise for me was his 1965 record “My Baby Left Me”, I love my mid sixties rock and here is this older dude totally beating the young guys at their game, totally loose and unhinged, and straight up there as one one my fav mid sixties rockers. Cheers
Good to hear, I agree about Vince's My Babe , it got just about everything in it - rockabilly, 60's punk, free form jazz....
Re the Kinks Village Green box set , it has been a trend in the past couple of years for record companies to combine CDs and vinyl when doing reissue box sets , rather than releasing separate vinyl and CD sets - Lou Reed's New York boxset is the latest example. It this to boast flagging CD sales or are customers demanding the combined sets? I certainly prefer having the option of buying vinyl or CDs , rather than having a doubling up of everything and paying big bucks for the privilege.
