Couldn't agree more.

 

We cancelled about 2 weeks out, when some virus cases emerged in Sydney, as we had to change flights there and were worried about getting stuck quarantining somewhere. Naturally, no other cases emerged once we cancelled!
Still haven’t got our accommodation money back, despite cancelling well before the deadline!

 

Ha, that is always the way when you cancel something! Good luck with getting your accommodation money back. I have heard the same about accommodation in Byron Bay, people not getting refunds when the festival was cancelled.

I got my Bluesfest ticket refunded and didn't bother re-booking for the new dates in October, not worth the asking price and the hassle of travelling 20 hours for an all Australian line-up - much as I like Aussie music.

Have tickets and accommodation booked for the Echuca/Moama Blues Festival in July, fingers crossed that it goes ahead.

Is this a new Aust. Amazon record? A box set I ordered on 2nd Jan 2021, has finally been shipped and will arrive next week.

 

I ordered the Ramones’ “Rocket to Russia” box set on Feb. 1, 2019 and it shipped on Sep. 23, 2019!

 

Also have a few longer term ones that started moving tonight - one from 24 Jan 21!

Great four CD box set, bought it on Amazon last week for $45. My only criticism is the length of the CDs, all around 50 minutes, there was plenty of room for extra tracks as it is a retrospective of Cummings' solo career

 

Anyone here have any Amazon search tips they don't mind sharing? I mainly look for vinyl and I have found good stuff by searching for "180g", "master recording", "audiophile" and "music on vinyl"

 

"Box Set" searches sometimes turns up some goodies and I often search by record label name - Ace, Kent, Numero, Vampi, Soundway, Analog Africa, etc. Aust. Amazon seems to occasionally discount by label/distributer.
