Not Amazon, but a good price on next weeks Prince 6-disc 1999 SDE - Prince 1999 (Super Deluxe) (5CD/ 1DVD) Deluxe Edition, With DVD, With Bonus Disc on ImportCDs . With postage it's costing about $80 AUD - much cheaper than the $130 at JB and Amazon.au aren't even getting it at this stage.
I think for that weight $120 is very reasonable. It will probably be sent by Courier as well. If you tried to send it yourself, I imagine it would be well over $200. I bought something on ebay uk some time ago, had it delivered to my sister and then arranged for Royal Mail postage. The item was about a third of the weight of this box set, and cost over $100 to send.
Just received this. Absolute bare bones packaging, I was a little shocked! But the vinyl seems clean and well pressed. Poly inners. Mastered by Vic Anesini. Cool book. Listening to the first LP and the sound, to my non-expert ears, is great. Would I recommend this box? If you already own the core albums, this will complement them nicely and I recommend this box. If you don't have the core albums, get yourself to a record fair and get them first in the best original condition you can find and then think about purchasing this.
