Was always tempted to grab it at that price but never did. Managed to nab the LP version for about $18.

They were selling that Rumours 4 CD/DVD and vinyl package cheap for about 18 months. They couldn't give it away.

Apologies for the one-upmanship, but scored a copy of this in Dec. 2018 for $39.99!

Edit - Big Swifty just one-upped me below!

One of the first " Big Name" bands I ever saw was Lobby Loyde and the Coloured Balls supported by Redhouse Roll Band at my local theatre, I was 15-16 years old. My only recollection of it was that they were bloody loud and looked really scary

John Dallimore of Redhouse Roll Band is still a bit of a local legend down Geelong way.
On the odd occasion he plays a gig, there are guitar geeks a-plenty in attendance!

The Redhouse Roll Band became Redhouse and had a chart hit with I Like Dancing.

Produced by the guy from Gus and the Nomads

My first 'real gig' was The Scientists at LeRox circa 1984. Changed my life.

I remember Skyhooks playing at Moomba on the Yarra riverbank. All these girls were trying to swim across the river to get to them but they'd start drowning halfway across. The Melbourne City Council had a boat on the river to rescue the drowning girls. That was a life changing event.

Another band I saw when I was an impressionable teenager that really freaked me out was Captain Matchbox Whoopee Band. I remember thinking I should stay well away from drugs or you could end up like one of them!

No way, that was why it was so scary, they were playing in a country town of about 800 people and I had only heard of sharpies, never actually seen one!

Channel 10 were broadcasting the Moomba concert live and because of all the drownings I got in big trouble when I got home. It was total carnage.
