Good buy, but a better one was the 19 cd box set of everything Aretha did on Atlantic that was selling at one stage for $57 on Aust. Amazon last year

 

Thanks for posting this, I managed to grab the “last one” on CD for $30.60.

 

Got this in the mail on Friday and it is very interesting -it is a straight reissue of the three John Thomas related LPs - and is a mixture of psych , folk, prog, and blues , thankfully no heavy metal ! The booklet is worth the price alone - John Thomas led an amazing life after leaving the Flies and moving to Europe, including selling weed to Jefferson Airplane and playing with Annie Lennox and Dave Stewart in one of their early bands.

Thomas pinched the adjective Creepy from a 1963 song title by Koerner, Ray and Glover and is still making music today
