Sound quality on extended mixes is awesome. If u like the normal album - u’ll love this.

 

The extended mixes are my go-to versions. I've streamed them about 50 times on Spotify and I've been waiting for the vinyl to be sold at a reasonable price.

I really want this but the comments about sources and compression from the Italian chap in the Reviews section put me off. If you don't care about that stuff, this looks good for hard-to-find mixes.

 

Sadly every compilation CD of Australian pop music in the last 20 years has been ruined by excessive compression.

 

This is not Amazon related but is connected to collecting. Last week I went to the Thredbo Blues festival, which was fantastic. I went without my wife, which meant plenty of time for crate digging on the road trip - resulting in an extra 97 CDs and 55 records coming home with me.

The "Ripley's Believe It Or Not " moment - I found a copy of Captain Matchbox's legendary Wangaratta Wahine LP in , you guested it , a Wangaratta Op shop!

I love that kind of find! My equivalent was finding a 1st edition Graham Greene book from 1955 with a promo postcard for the book in an Op Shop in the town that he was born in England.
