DAVID BOWIE - DIVINE SYMMETRY 5XCD

$183 Temp out of stock. This has just been listed, seems to match the US price but about $50 cheaper than I can find it for locally for preorder, I have a feeling this may well come down in price.... maybe lol. One of, if not my favourite Bowie album, I need to find an OG copy the recent reissue is pretty dire and I am probably better off putting $180 towards that.

I just saw that too when I checked my wish list for what's available.
It's actually $175 on Warner AU, who are much more reliable with new releases than our friends at Amazon AU.

Here's another Tone Poet at a good price, has been there for a while hovering around this price:

    Clubhouse
    Dexter Gordon
    $50.61

Limited 180gm vinyl LP pressing. One of the enduring mysteries of Blue Note history is that superb sessions such as Dexter Gordon's Clubhouse (recorded in 1965) remained unreleased in the vault until the late 1970s. Recorded during the middle of Gordon's "golden period" career renaissance after he signed with Blue Note in 1961, the tenor saxophone legend is joined by Freddie Hubbard on trumpet and the remarkable rhythm section of Barry Harris on piano, Bob Cranshaw on bass, and the great Billy Higgins on drums. Blue Note Tone Poet series.

Wow! Just bought this on a whim - thank you. Screamadelica is one my favourite ever albums and the 'soundtrack to my yoof'. I've thought about buying this before and never did spring for it but for 80 bucks, why not. To have the Dixie Narco EP on vinyl alone is worth it. I had the cassingle back in the day - loved that 12 minute "Screamadelica" song - shame it was never on the album.

Yep, same here. Grabbed this for nostalgic reasons. 80 bucks, why not.

By the way, this pressing is very good, it's pricey at the moment but I got it a few months ago for around $40 and I'm happy with it:

Interesting. I normally stay away from picture discs but if it was going for $40 I'd probably pick it up. I'll keep my eyes open for any price drops - cheers!

This is a really good box, I had originals of most but they were pretty trashed because I was pretty loaded when I used to play them. The quality is good and Dixie Narco is a treat. That and the 12 inch of Come Together are true classics. I can't think of another album that doesn't have the title track on it, Screamadelica is best live :pineapple:

Mine arrive today without a shipping box.
I was so excited when I saw the price I forgot to tick the gift box which usually guarantees it comes in a shipping box.
From initial inspection it actually looks pristine, but I'll know for sure when I take off the shrink.

There's sometimes an option to "ship in Amazon packaging" as "manufacturer box reveals content" or something like that. So that's something else to tick!

Great album that one! I've also got a spare one that was miss-pressed with a double Side A. I kept it incase it's collectable....but honestly who would really want it apart from someone who hates Side B!!!
