The only reason I'm not buying it atm is the first disc is a remix and the 5th is previously released material. If the 2CD version was discs 2 and 3 I'd be on it like a seagull on a hot chip.

 

Agreed, that's why I took my time too... Seems like a dip in standards compared to the other entries in the series.

That's a good price. Au Amazon would have to be getting some copies of this surely! I decided against getting the box set and picked up an 80s Italian press instead (after reading the hunky dory thread on here) which sounds incredible, much cheaper than a UK original and easier to get, recommended

The remix is the reason to get it imo.

Amazon is messing with my head. I have eight items in my cart and they are going down in price 1-5 cents per day, like they are baiting me!

I ordered 2 from JPC.de back when it was first announced for just under $100 a piece. I believe they only have the more expensive Japanese version now as it seems to have already become extremely hard to get.

I sadly have no leads on where to obtain a reasonably priced copy :-(

If you are in the wilds of Portland, Victoria, there is a very good second hand record store called Revival Records. Very well priced, records are well graded , with several $5 and $10 record bins, also has books and CDs
Records are cataloged alphabetically , but you can’t have everything!
