Funny stuff vinyl - I recently bought the LP, Lightning' and the Blues by Lightnin' Hopkins from Discrepancy recently for the bargain price of $10. The vinyl looked appalling; dull grey with swirls and blotches through it and had what appeared to be faint scuff marks. To make it worse, the label states - " An Ultra Hi Fidelity Recording"!

Yet the record plays like a dream - not the slightest bit of noise. I would love to have an original copy to compare the sound.

I bought The Faces 5CD box and it was supposed to be delivered on the 2nd but Aussie Post is making excuses (because of high volume).

That may well be part of why it isnt there, certainly in this day and age it makes one squirm! Especially with the 'sound affects'

 

Agree, I 've got it on the first Pebbles comp from 1979 and even back then the liner notes apologize for including it!
