Amazon AU price watch thread...

I've bought a half-priced used item and a decent list of TOOS items to help ease my withdrawal pains.

It's like Coles selling that $10 lettuce last year. So when they put it down to $6 everyone thinks it's a bargain.... forgetting it was previously $3!!!!

 

Yep was a mistake. MY mistake. The Whitesnake CD only just hit my card today. It was the Joe Henderson LP that cleared my card yesterday. I confused them as similar prices. So sadly no sneaky GST avoidance for me!!

 

The only thing that Amazon AU get right is charging credit cards.

 

If they ever accidentally undercharged me…

 

Since cancelling prime, my theory is if I see something really cheap in stock i'll just add it to my basket... along with some out of stock bargain that will never arrive, thereby hitting $59 free shipping thresh-hold, but never having to cough up the $ for the other item.

 

I like loopholes. Good to know.

 

Genius! There are a plethora of TOOS items to choose from.

You are right, coloured vinyl is a scam, so why do I start drooling when I find some?

Bought this from a secondhand shop today, if it was black vinyl, it would have stayed there! In my defense -it is a very nice blue

It's showing as a 2002 release, whatever that is.

 

I'm almost certain it's not the 2002. This has been posted before so I'm hoping someone bought it and can let us know.

 

I don't know if anyone else is buying the Analogue Productions Atlantic 75 records but what a series this is turning out to be. I have bought both Genesis, the Mingus, Dr John and Ray Charles LPs. They are all stunning. The sonics are fantastic but they are also lovely things to hold, like a beautifully bound book. They are expensive but I'm getting my monies worth.

 

Phil Collins & Alice Cooper so far. But more that I will get. Great series for sure.

 

I bought it on Amazon AU (via Amazon US) in 2021 and I'm pretty sure I got the one I linked to (above). When I click my past order it goes straight to the copy you posted. I sent mine back though because it had damage to the sleeve and a replacement wasn't available.
