Amazon selling used cd’s as new

There seem to be different options for third party sellers to use fulfillment by Amazon. If they chose mixed inventory actually a resealed copy provided by another third party seller might have been shipped. So the seller could be right.

 

Indeed. That, plus the fact that the seller's response seemed polite and reasonable (as opposed to some sellers who immediately get abrasively defensive the moment a buyer has the temerity to question their grading), would lead me to give them the benefit of the doubt and the opportunity to make it right, if I were the buyer.

 

Thanks, everybody. They actually called me today and they will ship a brand new one directly from their store. They seem sincere and I guess it’s just how Amazon works. I will change the feedback.
