Amazon shipping problems

Ordered a few box sets (in stock and fulfilled by Amazon) in the 21st.

Still not shipped as of this morning. Contacted them on Thursday (Amazon on line chat) and they insisted was shipping "momentarily"

As of this morning, nothing. Does not even say "preparing for shipment" and both items are still listed as "in stock"

Anyone else have these issues?

 

every once in a while, yes. not sure it's indicative of a major amazon issue that warrants sounding the alarms though.

This is the way Amazon treats non prime customer's.

 

Never happened to my before and I am a long time customer.

after having a 2nd discussion with customer device, order is finally shipping.

 

I don’t order enough from amazon to justify the cost of prime to have my purchases shipped in a reasonable amount of time. If they don’t ship my in-stock orders within a week, I cancel it and order somewhere else. I’m too impatient for their make-them-wait-long-enough-so-they’ll-subscribe-to-prime crap. And no I don’t care about any other prime ‘benefits’, there are none that I’d use.

 

I guess they have stopped the GPS delivery thing whereas you could trace in real time, the deliver van as it snakes its way to your address.
Was cheap time wasting entertainment. Wonder if there was a security factor?

 

I still get that when Amazon's own service makes the delivery.

 

Around here, they've reverted back to using the USPS again, like 2007.

 

Around Dec 25th, I followed the delivery going 'round in circles trying to find me. My physical location actually on a side street.
That was my last GPS delivery. Maybe I am red flagged?

 

Long as I get the stuff, am okay. Just amuses me.
Seems as if every Sunday evening around 6, two unmarked Zon vans rendezvous out front - exchange cargo, then take off.

 

ordered a cd from Amazon UK. ordered an lp from Music Direct around the same time. Got the CD first, go figure.
