Amazon UK Global standard shipping to US by Australia Post??

So I have an item coming from Amz UK to the US and the tracking shows Australia Global Post as the carrier. Amz customer service said the correct delivery address is on the package, USA not AUS. Has anyone ever had a similar carrier experience? Odds I'll ever see that package, better than 10:1?

 

I ordered some CDs from Amazon UK at the end of 2019 and that's how they were shipped. No issues with delivery. Shipping time was about the same as previous orders from Amazon UK, even during the holidays. I'm located in Pennsylvania.
