Hello Guys, For those of you enjoying ambient music (and more about the "old" school, i.e., Eno, Biosphere, field recordings, etc.), here is the place to share our "hidden gems"/albums we own and would like to share with us here. Here is one for you. The textures on this one are quite mesmerizing 4. Film Ton by C-Schulz (1992) link: 4. Film Ton - YouTube First track
Don't know how much they're a hidden gem at this point, but I've been getting big into Northcape lately. Hearing them a lot more lately it seems.
All the Eno and Fripp & Eno Lps Eno and Mobius Hassell/Eno "Possible Musics" Guitar intro to Lou Reeds "Women" (I made an ambient music tape with the guitar intro to Reed's "Women" recorded over and over for about 5 minutes followed by Eno, etc.)
Been digging these recently: Secret Pyramid - Movements Of Night Bing & Ruth - Tomorrow Was The Golden Age Eluvium - Nightmare Ending

Steve Dragon - Nag Champa.wmv And this other album is a full on psychedelic ambient experience, for me at anyrate. Shulman - In Search Of A Meaningful Moment [Full Album]

I compiled an instrumental/ambient album of Bowie and Eno, material sourced from both Low and "Heroes". There's no cover artwork for this yet, I think about making a similar looking one like Eno's Ambient series or sth. side 1 Speed Of Life A New Career In A New Town V-2 Schneider Art Decade Weeping Wall Subterraneans side 2 Warszawa Sense Of Doubt Moss Garden Neuköln It all flows very well together. I often listen to this when I design digital art stuff.
I apologize if this isn't exactly a "hidden" gem (it may have been very popular at the time for all I know) but this is my favorite ambient album:
